Rosenbauer/Spartan 1500/500 Top Mount Custom Pumper

Jacksonville- The Jacksonville FD has taken delivery of a new Custom Pumper built by world leader Rosenbauer.  This is the second Pumper delivered to Jacksonville by CW Williams and Rosenbauer in the last two years.

The truck is layed out and outfitted almost identical to the unit delivered in 2010.  The Spartan Gladiator Cab has a Cummins ISL 9 engine rated at 450hp.  The long cab allows for an additional storage area behind the rear seats for long handled tools (pic).  The extended front bumper is plumbed for a hand line and accomodates lots of storage (pic).

The truck carries 500 gallons of water and has a Waterous CSUC20 pump rated at 1500 gpm.  There is also a Foam Pro 1600 system.

The Rosenbauer CT body is unmatched for compartment space and Jacksonville made good use of all of it with tool boards (pic), trays, and shelves (pic).  The truck has an electric powered aluminum hose bed cover and a hydrulic ladder rack.  Eight spare SCBA bottles can be stored in wheel well compartments.  The truck is also outfitted with a 10kW hydraulic generator.
