ROSENBUER/FREIGHTLINER 1250/1000 TOP MOUNT PUMPER
West of New Bern Volunteer FD, Craven County, North Carolina
NEW BERN- West of New Bern VFD has long been one of CWW’s most loyal customers. We are honored to have placed numerous pieces of apparatus with the Department and are very excited to finally see them take delivery of a unit built by Rosenbauer.
The new truck comes on a FL M2106 four door cab with a Cummins 330hp engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. It carries a Waterous CXC20 pump rated at 1250 gpm and has a 1000 gallon booster tank. There are two cross lays over the pump panel and a 10″ stainless steel quick dump at the rear of the truck concealed behind the roll up door with duel electric controls.
The body is an all aluminum Centurion body by Rosenbauer with its unique 28′ deep compartments which will allow West of New Bern to add lots of extras and still have plenty of compartment space. The compartments above the wheel well have swing out tool boards that allow for equipment mounting on both sides as well as the back wall of the compartment. A hydraulic ladder rack with end mounts add to maximization of compartment space. The truck has an 8kW hydrulic generator and speedi dry hopper in one of the wheel wells. The truck is also equipped with a six light Command Light on the roof of the cab with a strobe and backlighting package. Warning lights are Whelen LEDs.
