International/Rosenbauer 1000/750 Timberwolf

DENTON– Healing Springs FD in Davidson County, NC has taken delivery of a new Timberwolf Urban Interface Pumper built by Rosenbauer.  Platform for the truck is a 4 door International chassis with a 330hp MaxxForce engine.  The truck carries 750 gallons.

Healing Spring’s Timberwolf is equipped with the exclusive Rosenbauer NH pump rated at 1000 gpm.  The pump produces both normal and high discharge pressures simultaneously.  The pump allows for pump-and-roll in both forward and reverse gears at up to 10 mph.  Coupled with the Rosenbauer’s Fix Mix foam system, the pump produces “CAFS like” foam in high pressure mode at a fraction of the cost of conventional CAFS.  The high pressure side of the pump is plummed to a booster reel and a TFT Tornado bumper turret which is controlled by a  joy stick in the cab.  The truck was also specified with the Rosenbauer LogiColor pump panel controls.
